The Successful Should Just QUIT

“I succeeded so I quit.” #thingssuccessfulpeopledontsay I’m at the 2017 Press Preview for the New York International Auto Show and I just heard a presentation from Bridgestone, the tire company. Bridgestone said they have been working on some cool technology for their TIRES. But, before we get to that what do I think about tires? Tires are: Round – can’t get no better right? Rubber – durable ain’t it? Tread – water out means less crashin’? Pressure monitoring – less under inflated tires in the winter! Run Flat Technology – Nail punctures r sooooo 1990’s!

How Insecure Men Ruin Everything! Insecure Men Cannot Be Trusted Under no circumstances can you, or should you trust an insecure man. EVEN if he is your father or husband. Don’t confuse this to mean you should disrespect or abandon, the men in your life if you find some truisms in this article, or anything horrible like that. I’m just saying you cannot trust insecure men…..they don’t think the way they ‘should’ yes SHOULD. Here’s why. Let’s say you know a man, he’s a boaster. Can Shame be a Motivator?

Shame used to be a tool used to Motivate, now what is it? I have a “way” of looking at things that, can sometimes, upset or frustrate some of my audience. I’ve gotten a lot of positive response on the blog, and a lot of negative feedback as well. I’m not ashamed of what I write or how it might come off. I care more about the content I provide for you here. I’m not ASHAMED. Which is also the subject of this post. SHAME. a feeling of guilt, regret, or sadness that you have because you know you have...

Indulgence STOP – NO GIVE ME MORE?

Indulgence Defined : the behavior or attitude of people who allow themselves to do what they want or who allow other people to do what they want : the act of doing something that you enjoy but that is usually thought of as wrong or unhealthy : something that is done or enjoyed as a special pleasure Interesting. I took a few interesting points from it. Indulgence is Reasonable. Indulgence is Expected. Over-indulging has consequences, and labels. Under-indulging must be a ‘thing’ too right?

People are Givers or Takers – There is Nothing in between…..

Every person can be clearly identified as one of these types of people. The Givers, and the Takers. The Giver:  To present voluntarily, and without expecting compensation : bestow. I love the definition of the Giver. It’s very clear. There are 2 specific parts of the definition that stick out to me the most. Voluntarily and Without Expecting Compensation The Taker: The act of taking; to get into ones hold or possession by voluntarily action. The definition of a taker was a bit harder to come by, and discern. It was derived from the verb, to take. It does highlight the voluntarily action...

Reasonable Rage

Rage Wears a Mask. He constantly tricks us…… First, let me talk about my battle with Rage… We all get angry, frustrated, disgusted, and a myriad of other things. I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about RAGE. Like most people, you become enraged when you feel that you’ve been wronged. Rage, on Wikipedia, is defined as: Rage (often called fury or frenzy) is a feeling of intense, violent, or growing anger. It is associated with the fight-or-flight response and often activated in response to an external cue, such as an event that impacts negatively on the person. Someone might cut you off (infuriating), you might stub your...
